經過一番折騰後﹐Empire Builder 系列最新作中華鐵路終於運到本軒。以下是中華鐵路和其他Empire Builder 系列不同之處：
台灣可由不同渡口直達﹐各玩家可由香港出發用八圓接駁至台灣﹐人數不限﹐或由其他渡口用所列費用連接﹐每個其他渡口只限兩人使用。台灣各市可視作一體﹐在等待渡口的回合之後的次回合起始時才可上貨或落貨才開始新回合的移動﹐上貨或落貨次數及個數不限。唯如需同時或交替上落貨﹐每回合開始時只能選擇上貨或落貨﹐另一個行動須待次回合才可進行，例如先用一回合落貨﹐第三回合才上貨並開始行九步或十二步。台灣連結並不算進四個大城的連結。玩家需於大陸連結四個大城﹐並以渡口接駁至台灣。玩家並不得在台灣運行列車。
大連港包括膠州灣渡輪﹐只須付出四圓便可連接。（歐鐵都柏林條款）
乾湖乾河只需一圓附加費﹐直至雨季來臨。（澳鐵條款）
沙漠上的路軌可於沙暴中被摧毀。路軌上的列車須返回最近的城市並失去一回合及一件貨物。（月鐵條款）
水災可摧毀路軌﹐唯路軌的原擁有者得有一回合的優先權重建。
人大會議要求各玩家在下次上落貨前須到達某一大城市﹐到達後可獲十圓（北京）或五圓（其他大城）。
